Global Fitness is the Worlds largest wholesaler of pre-owned and refurbished cardio equipment.

Each year we acquire thousands of cardio equipment from facilities nationwide and worldwide, returning them to our manufacturing facility in Los Angeles, California. It is here that they undergo our unique remanufacturing process.

We initiate this sophisticated 72 point process, by disassembling the treadmills down to the bare frames, at which point we discard of the wear and tear parts which are later recycled. All of the frames, core components, and electronics are retained and dispatched to our electronics laboratory..

The treadmill frames are sent to our powder coating facility, where the original paint is removed in a 1700 degree oven. The final paint removal process is completed in a high-volume silica sand blast room, where the frames are brought back to their raw steel form. These metal frames and parts then undergo the same powder coating paint process that the equipment manufacturers perform, utilizing original color paint, which is applied as a powder that affixes to the metal through an electric charge. The new paint is then sealed and cured in a second 1700 degree oven for 30 minutes…and when it comes out, it glistens with a brand new perfect texture and shine, just like new!

The Assembly Process

The gym treadmill frames and metals parts are returned to our remanufacturing bays and the rebuilding process begins. New parts including; belts; decks; overlays; decals; stickers and other hardware is installed and affixed. We test and repair ALL electronics professionally in our electronics lab, as well as rebuild all motor, alternators and rollers with new bearings and critical core parts. Motors are restored to full original torque and power by replacing bearings and recoiling the armatures, ensuring perfect durability and longevity. The computer firm-ware is updated with the latest manufacturer releases, and is configured to suit the country and requirements to which the product is destined.

These completed refurbished gym treadmills are then packaged using recycled professional packaging materials and shipped to clients throughout the US, as-well as distributors in one of 67 countries where our products are represented.

They are truly ready to be replaced onto gym floors and to perform and function just like new!
