The Precor 956 treadmill has every feature imaginable for this kind of equipment. Like all Precors, it has a strong reputation for durability and reliability. Compared to the closest other treadmill in the Precor line (the C954), you get 17 more programs, 2 more displays, and several other features. The 956 provides a smooth running experience thanks to the Ground Effects® Impact Control System, and integrated foot plant technology watches closely over your every step to deliver an even better ride. A 3.2 HP motor carries the load competently while adding superior power and durability at inclines of 0 to 15% and speeds of .5 to 12 mph. A prominent display keeps you apprised of time, distance, heart rate, watts, METS, calories, resistance, strides, and strides/minute. This is a treadmill for the serious athlete or novice exerciser alike. Touch sensitive control makes operating this heavy-duty machine a breeze. Other relevant stats on the C956 include: 1) Reversible deck for longer life 2) a 60” x 20” spacious walking surface 3) Heart rate telemetry combined with touch heart rate sensors 4) 21 built-in programs, including a 5K course, and cross-country courses (3) Interval workouts (4) a fitness test, and many more. |
