The StairMaster® 4000 PT was the original stairclimber developed way back in the 1980s when these machines were first produced, and using them was a fun, new fad. Since they are still around in most gyms in the 21st Century, you know they must have done something right. In fact, this work horse 58”x 41”x 32” piece of equipment provides a tough workout with up to 20 levels of intensity, and 7 programs to choose from. Its pedals work independently and you can change speeds anytime during your workout, making this a versatile, as well as proven, piece of gym machinery. The StairMaster® 4000PT’s feature a “sweet spot” on each pedal, which adds to the effectiveness of the workout by encouraging you to maintain your stepping pace. Your climbs and descents will be closely monitored by the electronic braking system, which enables a smooth transition from full speed to cool down, or stop, and your power output, in METS or Watts, will be recorded for workout-to-workout comparisons. In current times, stair machines come in every size and shape. But wouldn’t it be nice to build a relationship with the machine that started it all –at a very affordable price? |
