| A Cybex DeadLift Platform is, and can best be described as follows: A Deadlift or Lifting Platform is an elevated free weight accessory comprised of two rubber inserts with a wooden insert between them. It is typically 2" - 4" high and 6' x 8', it can be used alone, or placed under a Power Cage or Power Rack, and it is designed to be used as a surface for safely performing Olympic lifts with heavy loads. A variation of a lifting platform designed specifically to assist in performing Deadlifts involves an elevated platform with a bar catch, which facilitates easy loading of plates, and allows maximum stretch for Deadlift exercises. |
