| What is a Plate-Loaded Piece? |
|
| A Nautilus Dip Machine is classed as a Plate-Loaded piece. Plate-loaded strength training machines use standard 1", or Olympic 2" plates, which are stored on weight horns, and are usually made of steel, rubber, or urethane. The plates are loaded onto the ends of a bar in the appropriate increments for the desired resistance, and this weight is used to generate the major opposing force during a weight training exercise. |
