Made for durability, the Freemotion S11.8 Group Cycling Bike was designed to withstand the heavy use of a busy commercial gym, yet its easy to use functions and features also make it ideal for home use. Featuring very tactile dual-sided pedals that accommodate high performance SPD cycling cleats as well as most any other type of athletic footwear, the bike provides a very low impact workout that will not overly tax the muscles and joints of the lower body. Part of the company’s popular S Series of stationary spinning bikes, the S11.8 features a distinctive, fully adjustable design that allows it to comfortably accommodate riders up to 6’9” tall. And its uniquely designed flywheel with quick-change resistance levels gives riders the genuine feel of a real road racing.
Featuring the patented Gates Carbon Drive system, with a belt drive operation for smoother rides, the Freemotion S11.8 Group Cycling Bike is very quiet and efficient at all speeds and resistance levels; and the vertical and horizontal adjustability of both the seat and handlebars makes the bike perfect for riders of all sizes and ability levels. There is even a quick stop emergency brake designed to stop the bike in its tracks in cases of accidental slippage or injury.
Made with no brake pads to maintain, the Freemotion S11.8 Group Cycling Bike features an intelligent magnetic braking system that brings the flywheel to a rapid stop every time the brake is employed. The seat and the handlebars on the bike can be adjusted both up and down, fore and aft, enabling the bike to adapt perfectly to over 95 percent of riders. The saddle on the bike includes extra gel inserts for rider comfort, and the wide walk-through design makes accessing the bike a breeze. The S11.8 includes front welded wheels for easy portability. And the dual water bottle holders and accessory tray add an extra measure of usability and convenience.
Our professionally refurbished group cycling bikes set the industry standard, which competitors can only try to emulate. This process is done to the manufacturer’s specifications and is conducted exclusively in-house, allowing for complete control over quality. Our certified refurbished gym equipment are truly in a class of their own.
All of the normal wear items on our refurbished spin bikes, including the high-quality grips and seats, are either re-touched or completely replaced as part of our top-notch remanufacturing process. Pedals are also carefully inspected for wear, with those showing signs of deterioration immediately replaced.
The decals and emblems on our fitness products are intended to make them stand out from the competition. Hence, the labels and emblems on our refurbished group cycling bikes are replaced with brand new versions of the original, making it difficult to distinguish the remanufactured products from those that are brand new.
The high-quality fly wheels and drive belts on our refurbished group cycling bikes are crucial to the bike’s performance. Therefore, all flywheels are carefully inspected, and some will undergo the process of powder coating and or re-chroming. Drive belts are always replaced as a matter of procedure.
Our standard practice at GFI is to repair or replace every component of the braking and resistance systems, including tension knobs. Brake pads on our refurbished group cycling bikes are always changed out with modern pads as suggested by the manufacturer—pads designed to increase the lifespan of the braking system.
To make certain that all of the mechanical parts on our refurbished Group Cycling bikes continue to offer the very finest in smooth, quiet performance, components such as bushings are entirely pressed or bored out and replaced with modern copper bushings—parts designed to offer the best in fluidity and function.
The various metal components that comprise the frame and drive systems on our refurbished spin/group cycling bikes can become worn, faded and chipped over time. For that reason, all of these components undergo our systematic refinishing process at our very own silica sandblasting and powder coating facility.
Many of our refurbished group cycling bikes have plastic shrouds that encapsulate the flywheel to prevent potential oxidation (rust). Consequently, we thoroughly inspect all of these components to look for signs of wear. Plastics that are dilapidated are always replaced, while those in good order are merely refinished.
Our Refurbished Machines carry a 1 Year comprehensive parts & labor warranty.
