Prior to shipping the machines are put through a 42-point inspection, and then stripped down to the bare frame. Frames are powder-coated to perfection, new parts replace the worn, and the machine is brought back to “like new” condition. The machine undergoes a full quality control inspection, placed under stress testing, and once they pass, sent to our packaging department to be professionally packaged and prepared for shipping.Want more details? The durable and very adaptable Life Fitness CT90Xi Crosstrainer is perfect for both home and commercial gyms. Built to last a generation, the versatile machine boasts a number of very attractive features, including its dual-sided, easy-grip pedals and the biomechanically-correct handlebars (with touch-based heart rate sensors in the handgrips). The moving handlebars have resistance both fore and aft—a feature that offers users an upper body routine to go along with the lower body workout. Running on a simple belt/alternator system, the machine is mostly self-powered and very quiet at all speeds. Its steel construction means it can support users up to 350 pounds; and its low profile and sleek appearance make it a great addition to any room.
The Life Fitness CT90Xi Crosstrainer comes integrated with 21 pre-programmed workout portfolios from which users can choose, all designed to work both the small and large muscle groups in the body while concurrently delivering a great aerobic workout. Some of these pre-set programs include a Manual and Quick Start function; a quad-busting hill workout; speed and interval training regimens; a random setting; a fat-burning program—a program that aims to keep users in their target heart rate zone throughout much of the session; and goal-based programs that focus on calories, distance, and time.
The Life Fitness CT90Xi Crosstrainer has 25 resistance settings to increase the intensity of the workout. The alphanumeric message center and LED display console keeps track of—and provides feedback on—a variety of goal-based workout statistics. These stats include heart rate (dynamic and constant heart rate); calories burned, elapsed time and time remaining; the distance traveled, the incline and resistance, watts, METs, and pace. The display monitor can also be upgraded to include the patented CoachZone feature, which is like having a personal trainer encouraging and challenging the user throughout the workout session.
Our professionally refurbished refurbished elliptical trainers set the industry standard, which competitors can only try to emulate. This process is done to the manufacturer’s specifications and is conducted exclusively in-house, allowing for complete control over quality. Our certified refurbished gym equipment are truly in a class of their own.
This part is the user's direct connection to the elliptical and is the initial way a user may distinguish the machine from new, thus a fresh overlay is key. We replace all overlays with new ones to ensure reliability, longevity and a blemish free machine that will last for the long haul.
All emblems and decals are replaced with new ones, as a pre-requisite to our remanufacturing process. To achieve a "like-new" elliptical, it is imperative that even the smallest details are affected and perfected, adhering with the manufacturer’s original cosmetic specifications.
It is easy to cut costs and use cheap entry level replacement parts such as belts and assemblies but at GFI, we use premium drive belts. Drive assemblies are either rebuilt or recycled and replaced with new ones. These ensure easy use and extend the life of the part and elliptical.
The technicians in our electronics department inspect and run each crosstrainer board through a series of tests using scopes and other sophisticated testing equipment. Often, basic repairs can be made returning the part to a perfect condition. If this is not possible, parts are recycled and replaced.
Our engineering department is responsible for dismantling, diagnosing and rebuilding all alternators/generators. To provide an exceptional Elliptical Trainer, this product must be rebuilt (or replaced) to ensure perfect functionality and performance. Batteries are recycled and replaced as necessary.
We are the only used fitness equipment factory in the United States with our own in-house silica sandblasting and powder coating shop. All of our Elliptical Trainer frames and metal parts are run through this process and can therefore be considered truly refurbished.
We replace the shrouds on our Elliptical Trainers unless they are in pristine condition. Often our competitors will choose to repair and paint these parts which over time will look worn and old, and may just as easily break again. Our process ensures a better crosstrainer overall.
Our Refurbished Machines carry a 1 Year comprehensive parts & labor warranty.
