Prior to shipping the machines are put through a 42-point inspection, and then stripped down to the bare frame. Frames are powder-coated to perfection, new parts replace the worn, and the machine is brought back to “like new” condition. The machine undergoes a full quality control inspection, placed under stress testing, and once they pass, sent to our packaging department to be professionally packaged and prepared for shipping.Want more details? Like their Discover model, the Life Fitness CT95X Engage Crosstrainer is part of the company’s extremely popular Elevation Series. This machine is the product of years of research studying biomechanical data and statistics. The result is an elliptical trainer that most closely resembles the natural movements of walking and running, only without the pounding pressure those activities can have on the knees and other joints. The Engage also delivers the same total body workout of earlier Life Fitness models, thanks to its ergonomically designed handlebars that offer just the right amount of resistance.
The newest—and perhaps the best—feature of the Life Fitness CT95X Engage Crosstrainer is its eco-friendly, hybrid design which diminishes the energy consumption and output of the large LED console. When exercisers reach a certain level of intensity, it is actually their body movements that are powering the display panel. Users get a visual reminder when they are actually powering the console, via a green hybrid icon that appears when such intensity is achieved. The bright console tracks all of the data fitness enthusiasts have come to appreciate in a high-quality machine—calories, distance etc. It also supports custom messaging and allows users to save their workouts on a USB drive.
The Life Fitness CT95X Engage Crosstrainer boasts 26 resistance levels, making it the perfect machine for beginners seeking a low impact workout as well as high-level athletes training for certain events. The elliptical trainer offers 36 different workouts to choose from, including all of the popular modes included in its earlier models, 8 new custom workouts and 2 new “create your own” workouts. Beginner and novice users can work on goals like fat and calorie burning, heart rate monitoring and fitness tests. Athletes can challenge themselves with a genuine Navy PRT workout; work on speed interval training, and cross train—jumping from running to stair-step type movements.
Our professionally refurbished refurbished elliptical trainers set the industry standard, which competitors can only try to emulate. This process is done to the manufacturer’s specifications and is conducted exclusively in-house, allowing for complete control over quality. Our certified refurbished gym equipment are truly in a class of their own.
This part is the user's direct connection to the elliptical and is the initial way a user may distinguish the machine from new, thus a fresh overlay is key. We replace all overlays with new ones to ensure reliability, longevity and a blemish free machine that will last for the long haul.
All emblems and decals are replaced with new ones, as a pre-requisite to our remanufacturing process. To achieve a "like-new" elliptical, it is imperative that even the smallest details are affected and perfected, adhering with the manufacturer’s original cosmetic specifications.
It is easy to cut costs and use cheap entry level replacement parts such as belts and assemblies but at GFI, we use premium drive belts. Drive assemblies are either rebuilt or recycled and replaced with new ones. These ensure easy use and extend the life of the part and elliptical.
The technicians in our electronics department inspect and run each crosstrainer board through a series of tests using scopes and other sophisticated testing equipment. Often, basic repairs can be made returning the part to a perfect condition. If this is not possible, parts are recycled and replaced.
Our engineering department is responsible for dismantling, diagnosing and rebuilding all alternators/generators. To provide an exceptional Elliptical Trainer, this product must be rebuilt (or replaced) to ensure perfect functionality and performance. Batteries are recycled and replaced as necessary.
We are the only used fitness equipment factory in the United States with our own in-house silica sandblasting and powder coating shop. All of our Elliptical Trainer frames and metal parts are run through this process and can therefore be considered truly refurbished.
We replace the shrouds on our Elliptical Trainers unless they are in pristine condition. Often our competitors will choose to repair and paint these parts which over time will look worn and old, and may just as easily break again. Our process ensures a better crosstrainer overall.
Our Refurbished Machines carry a 1 Year comprehensive parts & labor warranty.
