At the time of its release, the Matrix IC7 Group Cycling Bike was—and continues to be—one of the most technologically innovative stationary cycles in the industry—and it doesn’t hurt that it is also very sleek and attractive, too. The bike, which is perfect for group cycling/spinning classes, features a powerful toothed belt driven drivetrain that hugs the chain, and a feather-light aluminum flywheel that can be altered for performance thanks to the bike’s many levels of resistance. The seat of the bike includes gel inserts for added comfort throughout the workout, and the fine-tuned easy-up vertical and horizontal seat adjustments can easily be adapted to fit any size rider. Like the seat, the ergonomically designed handlebars can also be adjusted up/down and from side to side, and the padded cross bar protects the user’s arms and elbows when riding triathlon-style.
The smart and versatile power console on the Matrix IC7 Group Cycling Bike is completely self-powered—roaring to life the moment the rider begins pedaling. Through this console, riders can track most of the usual fitness stats and rubrics found on other stationary bikes, such as heart rate (if they are wearing the optional chest strap), speed, distance, calories, revolutions per minute (RPM), METs, etc. However, in addition to these traditional statistics, the IC7 additionally offers some very cool bonuses not seen with other bikes in this class. Thanks to its patented Coach by Color Training System, the LED lights on the console will actually change color depending on a user’s output—measured in watts—heart rate or any other fitness milestone in which the console is programmed to track. This cool feature offers rapid “at-a-glance” monitoring and encouragement as riders make their way through the chosen course.
The watts and heart rate information on the Matrix IC7 Group Cycling Bike is very accurate (+/- 1%). And its magnetic braking system closely replicates the feel of a real road racing bike. Moreover, given its low profile and lightweight (only 150 pounds), the bike is very portable and a perfect addition to any home gym.
All our Certified used group cycling bikess have undergone a 42-point inspection. Our machines are thoroughly tested, professionally detailed, and packaged. This process is documented with images and video and shared with the buyer prior to shipping. Our certified operational fitness products are truly in a league of their own.
Grips, seats, and pedals are a major wear item on Group Cycling Bikes. Since used bikes’ wear items are not replaced, we only select bikes that have minimal wear and are in good enough condition to be sold in this condition. Please expect some variation when buying multiple bike for a class environment or consider purchasing refurbished.
Replacing decorative features such as decals and emblems would only raise—unnecessarily—the price of our used group cycling bikes. Because of this, these aesthetic features typically receive less attention during the inspection process, allowing us to offer some of the best prices in the industry.
Flywheels are crucial to the smooth and fluid operation of our used group cycling bikes. Fortunately, the manufacturers of these machines equip them with flywheels and drive belts that are designed to stand the test of time—a fact that enables us to certify so many used fitness products.
The resident mechanics and technicians here at Global Fitness pay close, special attention to the braking systems on our used spin bikes and indoor group cycling bikes. Parts such as pads and tension resistance knobs are thoroughly inspected by our team before a single product leaves our showroom floor.
The smooth, quiet and fluid performance of a fitness product is dependent on properly functioning mechanical components—such as bearings and bushings. Our group cycling bikes at Global Fitness are consistently inspected both inside and out to ensure a mechanically-sound and long-lasting product.
The frames on our used group cycling bikes are the structural backbones upon which all other systems and components rely. As such, our talented team of inspectors analyzes each of the frames to ensure the durability of the bike and provide our customers with a fitness machine that will last for years.
The shrouds and plastic features that typically encapsulate and protect the flywheel and other vital components on our fitness products are very important to their longevity. Hence, these parts are carefully inspected and detailed on our used indoor cycles to ensure they remain protected against dirt and oxidation.
This used product is covered by a 30 day limited warranty. The used item is complete and in great working condition. Furthermore, it is fully tested and serviced prior to packaging and shipping.
