For the very best in cardiovascular and leg strengthening fitness, as well as access to some of the most state-of-the-art electronics, it’s hard to beat the Star Trac Espinner Generation 1. Based on the best selling NXT frame, the bike features a sturdy and heavy duty design, allowing it to accommodate riders up to 350 pounds in weight. The bike sports a high-performance, 38 pound flywheel that runs fluidly at every speed and resistance level—a flywheel that is covered on all sides so as not to expose potentially dangerous parts and to prevent the flywheel from rusting. The wide, dual-sided sure-grip pedals include toe cages that lock the feet into place, ensuring a low impact workout that will not overly strain the knees and other joints. Very portable, the machine includes welded, front retractable wheels, making it simple for anyone to move the bike.
Perhaps the main highlight on the Star Trac Espinner Generation 1is its next-generation, touch-screen display—a large 15 inch monitor on which riders will have access to on-screen virtual spinning classes, taught by some of the masters of the fitness industry. If this wasn’t enough, the display monitor can also double as a full-scale entertainment center, allowing riders to surf the web, watch streaming video, listen to their favorite tunes and even charge their electronic devices as they pedal away the pounds. The monitor also tracks and provides readouts detailing various workout stats and data, such as heart rate (the Espinner is Polar compatible), distance, calories, pace, speed and much more.
The biometrically designed handlebars on the Star Trac Espinner Generation 1 can be adjusted both vertically and horizontally to suit the height and preference of the user. And their slightly-tilted design helps to promote the proper posture for riders throughout the workout session.
Our professionally refurbished Spinner bikes set the industry standard, which competitors can only try to emulate. This process is done to the manufacturer’s specifications and is conducted exclusively in-house, allowing for complete control over quality. Our certified refurbished gym equipment are truly in a class of their own.
All of the normal wear items on our refurbished spin bikes, including the high-quality grips and seats, are either re-touched or completely replaced as part of our top-notch remanufacturing process. Pedals are also carefully inspected for wear, with those showing signs of deterioration immediately replaced.
The decals and emblems on our fitness products are intended to make them stand out from the competition. Hence, the labels and emblems on our refurbished spin bikes are replaced with brand new versions of the original, making it difficult to distinguish the remanufactured products from those that are brand new.
The high-quality fly wheels and drive belts on our refurbished Spinner bikes are crucial to the bike’s performance. Therefore, all flywheels are carefully inspected, and some will undergo the process of powder coating and or re-chroming. Drive belts are always replaced as a matter of procedure.
Our standard practice at GFI is to repair or replace every component of the braking and resistance systems, including tension knobs. Brake pads on our refurbished spin bikes are always changed out with modern pads as suggested by the manufacturer—pads designed to increase the lifespan of the braking system.
To make certain that all of the mechanical parts on our refurbished Spinner bikes continue to offer the very finest in smooth, quiet performance, components such as bushings are entirely pressed or bored out and replaced with modern copper bushings—parts designed to offer the best in fluidity and function.
The various metal components that comprise the frame and drive systems on our refurbished spin/group cycling bikes can become worn, faded and chipped over time. For that reason, all of these components undergo our systematic refinishing process at our very own silica sandblasting and powder coating facility.
Many of our refurbished Spin bikes have plastic shrouds that encapsulate the flywheel to prevent potential oxidation (rust). Consequently, we thoroughly inspect all of these components to look for signs of wear. Plastics that are dilapidated are always replaced, while those in good order are merely refinished.
Our Refurbished Machines carry a 1 Year comprehensive parts & labor warranty.
