Learn more about what is done to the Selectorized Station before shipping
Our professionally refurbished Selectorized Stations set the industry standard, which competitors can only try to emulate. This process is done to the manufacturer’s specifications and is conducted exclusively in-house, allowing for complete control over quality. Our certified refurbished gym equipment are truly in a class of their own.
The Selectorized Station weight stacks, if present, are dismantled from the guide rods, inspected for wear and metal fatigue then coated with a unique polymer that offers better wear than that of the original finish. We replace weight increment decals with new ones, and pins replaced irrespective of their condition.
All the decals and brand emblems, including the instruction placards and safety stickers on the Selectorized Station, are replaced with OEM parts. We feel that the finishing touches have just as much of an aesthetic influence on the final presentation of the strength machine.
All the Selectorized Station cables or belts, if present, are inspected and replaced if there is any sign of wear or weakness. Techs replace the damaged cables to cables that meet the manufactures load specifications, and when possible we use OEM parts only or high grade Kevlar belts.
Our engineering department is responsible for dismantling and rebuilding all stress components on the Selectorized Station, the likes of pulleys and pulley systems. We rebuild pulleys to provide a safe product and ensure perfect functionality and reliability.
We replace all used bearings and bushings on the Selectorized Stations with new high-quality OEM or Japanese bearings to ensure longevity and durability without failure. Guide rods are checked to ensure that they are true and replaced if necessary; they are otherwise lubricated and checked for aesthetic appeal.
We are the only refurbishing facility in the world with our own in-house silica sand blasting and powder coating facility. All of our Selectorized Station frames and metal parts run through this process and can, therefore, be considered a truly refurbished strength piece.
The Selectorized Station upholstery is stripped off and replaced in-house with many color options of original Naugahyde or BoltaFlex. We replace pads with new backboards and foam when necessary. Our double stitching and precision sewing ensure conformity to manufacturers original specifications.
Our Refurbished Machines carry a 1 Year comprehensive parts & labor warranty.
The warranty covers most aspects of the machines, including labor, which ensures that we will locate and assign a fitness technician to conduct the necessary repair work on the machine. All parts replaced are OEM and typically brand new. This is by far the best warranty in the industry exceeding all standards.
The only exclusions are the wear parts, negligent use, malicious damage, or force majeure.
For all claims our customer service department will handle your respective need(s) diligently and professionally. Should you require assistance once the warranty period has expired we will address any concerns and help you to maintain your unit by selling parts at our lowest wholesale cost. In addition, we will locate a service technician in your area that you can contact for any repairs or maintenance. We also offer extended warranties on refurbished machines.
Prior to shipping the machines are put through a 42-point inspection, and then stripped down to the bare frame. Frames are powder-coated to perfection, new parts replace the worn, and the machine is brought back to “like new” condition. The machine undergoes a full quality control inspection, placed under stress testing, and once they pass, sent to our packaging department to be professionally packaged and prepared for shipping.
